What do I need for dog road trip?

I am going to get my dog the following for our very known, very Y!A-controversial trip. He will be in the car for appx. 12-14 hours with stops every 3-5 hours and a picinic stop for about an hour,
-A ‘hard’ dog carrier
-a dog bed
-a couple of towels and newspaper to line the carrier.
-toys
-dishes
-gallon of water
-bag of BLUE (c) dog food
What made you think he is a puppy? He is almost 3. And I have had him since he was 2 1/2 months old. He doesn’t get carsick

I would plan on stopping ever hour or so, especially if you are getting a puppy. Allot of puppies will get car sick and the more you stop the better.
That is good for your dog. Entertain him every once in awhile.
