Designer Bags in Mexico Cost?

Okay, Supposedly, designer bags would be cheaper in Cancun due to the exchange rate stuff. Is that true? And would you pay in dollars or pesos?
And don’t tell me that they are fake, because i know they have certified stores there. (Chanel, Gucci, etc…)

Pay in pesos. Everytime i go to mexico my dad tells me to pay in pesos. Just learn how to use or count the money in pesos.
