anyone else think designer bags with big logos are tacky?

i like nice subtle handbags -i just don’t see the need to broadcast the designer. especially when so many fakes out there and i see 9 year olds sporting "coach"

It depends if the items are cute then hey why not?? but if they regular brown lv no that’s not cute to me just common too common. lol
I agree it is a lot of fakes out there however you can usually tell by the quality. so the best bet is to get them from the original shop, or high end consignment shop. if 9 years old wearing coach maybe their mom think they deserve it. if it’s fake then that says alot about the mother.
If you have style and rock it right you gonna always rocking someone label, no matter if it’s from payless to barefeet shoes. It’s all about the might dollar, the name, and YOU do you to make yourself feel good. Don’t worry about the next woman or shopper.
in my personal opinion a purse is a purse and most girls don’t use the same one for to long b/c their style changes or the seasons change, so i don’t see the point in spending that much money on something like that when your money could go towards something a little more helpful or needed. that’s just my opinion though.

i don’t get the whole multicolor huge logo thing. it always looks like a little girl’s dressup bag instead of a real purse to me.
I like Coach and Gucci bags and also Prada but I don’t really like Juicy Couture! They are a little to flashy for me.
Well, everyone is entitled to carry what they like. That’s what makes us human. You like to carry pretty much conservative handbags and there are others that find carrying those kind of bags boring and bland. To each "her" own!
I do understand your point regarding young kids and pre-teens carrying label designer bags. It takes away the allure of owning a designer bags. These children should concentrate on their studies than trying to look like one of the "Gossip Girls".
